Box-Office Milestone: 'Beauty and the Beast' Twirls Past $500M in the U.S.

Directed by Bill Condon, the live-action update of the classic 1991 animated film stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast and Luke Evans as the arrogant Gaston.

The movie has grossed $501 million domestically and $732 million internationally since its March 17 debut for a worldwide tally of $1.233 billion through today.
