Sangakkara's 100th ton powers Surrey into semis

A hundred 100s in List A and first-class cricket combined is what the 39-year-old Kumar Sangakkara achieved when he registered a run-a-ball 121 for Surrey against Yorkshire in the Royal London One-Day Cup quarter-final on Tuesday (June 13) to power his side to a sizeable total of 313 for 7 at Headingley in Leeds. This was followed by a disciplined performance with the ball that helped Surrey overcome the hosts by 24 runs to book a semis berth against Worcestershire on Saturday.
