Kidnapped Director Of Ondo Board Of Internal Revenue Regains Freedom After Payment Of N5 Million Ransom

Monisola Margret Olaoye, a Director in the Ondo State Board of Internal Revenue who was kidnapped penultimate Thursday has been released, SaharaReporters just learned. Mrs. Olaoye was released this evening (Thursday) by her abductors suspected to be armed Fulani herdsmen terrorizing the notorious Lagos-Benin expressway.

SaharaReporters gathered that the release of the female director who is in charge of PAYE-C in the Ondo State Board of Internal Revenue was the result of negotiation between the kidnappers and her family members.

A source who is close to the victim's family confirmed the news to our correspondent in a telephone chat. The source who pleaded anonymity said the female Director was released by the side of the road after her abductors confirmed the payment of a ransom.
