It's time for the big one!
India are finally squaring off against Australia on a five-match ODI series, after a couple of one-sided series' against Windies and Sri Lanka. Today's game, at Chepauk in Chennai, will see rivalries renewed after a bitter Test series which India edged after some intense cricket from Australia. It remains to be seen how the relationship between the teams has been damaged by that series.
Australia's away form in ODIs has been horrendous - they have lost their last eight completed ODIs away from home. It should make for positive reading for India, who have elected to bat first on a sunny day on what looks like a batting paradise.
As far as team selections go, Shikhar Dhawan is not there for India and Ajinkya Rahane takes his place. Hardik Pandya returns to the side but Ravindra Jadeja misses out.
