Kiwi NBA centre Steven Adams contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds in the Oklahoma City Thunder's loss to Charlotte.
Kiwi NBA centre Steven Adams' double-double wasn't enough to inspire the Oklahoma City Thunder in a sloppy home loss to the Charlotte Hornets.
Adams, who had scored 20 points or more in three of his past five games, poured in 11 points (5-6 shooting) and 10 rebounds in the 116-103 thumping on Tuesday (NZT).
The Hornets' starting five all scored in double digits with veteran centre Dwight Howard leading the way with 23 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, to hand the Thunder an upset loss.
The loss continues the Thunder's underwhelming start to the season, dropping to a 12-14 record and ninth in the western conference.
