The list of Celtics limping wounded grew last night, with the pregame announcement that Kyrie Irving was out with a left quad contusion suffered Sunday in Detroit.
He joined Marcus Morris, who missed a second straight game with left knee soreness and is looking at an extended stretch on the shelf to deal with the matter.
Morris had told the Herald earlier that he could be out two weeks to address the problem that has now caused him to miss 13 games. But prior to the game against the Bulls, he said he could be out even longer.
