Isi Naisarani Voted Best☝ Australian Super Rugby Player🏉

Isi Naisarani has created history after being voted the best Australian Super Rugby player in 2017 in what was his first season as a professional player.

The powerful Western Force backrower finished with 87 votes, ahead of Melbourne Rebels’ Japanese international Amanaki Mafi (78), Brumbies prop Allan Alaalatoa (69) and his teammate Henry Speight (64) in the vote for the RUPA Medal for Excellence.

The Fijian-born Naisarani, who still has to wait 15 months before he is eligible for the Wallabies, is also the fourth player born outside of Australia to win the award — after George Gregan (Zambia), Christian Leali’ifano (New Zealand) and David Pocock (Zimbabwe).
