Kate Bush, Rage Against the Machine, Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, MC5, LL Cool J, Judas Priest, the Zombies, the Meters, Link Wray, Rufus with Chaka Khan, and J. Geils Band did not make the cut this year, either. All of these artists join iconic snubbed nominees like Kraftwerk, Bad Brains, Jane’s Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, the Smiths, and Janet Jackson.
