Over 30 people have been killed and scores injured in yet another grisly road accident involving Modern Coast bus and 3⃣ other vehicles at Sachagwan along Nakuru-Eldoret Highway😱
The accident happened after a truck driver who was being chased by NTSA lost control of the vehicle and hit oncoming vehicles, Modern Coast Bus, four Nissan matatus, a truck and several other private vehicles resulting to the deaths😞
Director of road and safety at National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) Njeri Waithaka said🔈 they would release a 📝report this week highlighting some of the major hazard sports on Kenyans roads among the Sachangwan, Salgaa, Mlima Kiu along Mombasa Road and Bonje area.
The Northern Corridor that runs from Mombasa to Malaba is synonymous for habouring most of the black spots.
In response to this latest accident, Energy CS Charles Keter 🔈 a dual carriageway between Mau Summit junction and Ngata will be put up and that the government is planning to redesign Nakuru-Eldoret highway in a month after a series of deadly accidents at blackspots🙏 Keter 🔈 officers were already setting up light masts between Kamara and Ngata.
In his Jamhuri Day 🔈address, Uhuru issued a stern😠 warning against careless driving.
Can you readers believe that just on 2 days, more than 70 people were killed in 3⃣ separate accidents❓😱
