Knut secretary general Wilson Sossion has said he will not resign from his post following a gazette notice📝 ordering him to vacate🔚.
He said the Kenya Nations Union of Teachers is not government property to be dictated.
On Wednesday, Labour CS Phyllis Kandie listed the ODM nominated MP among others in a notice to vacate immediately. KUPPET chairman Omboko Milemba was also asked to leave. He won the Emuhaya MP seat in the August 8 general election🗳
The hard stance by the MP comes a week after he vowed to block✋ almost all the new policies introduced by Education CS Fred Matiang'i and Teachers Service Commission.
Sossion is opposed to implementation of new curriculum - 2-6-6-3 - saying it is a "tragedy in a making". He 🔈 the state will not provide text books📖 directly to 🏫schools saying this might be a " mega scandal in the offing".
