Serena Williams has been named one of the 30 most inspiring people who encouraged us to 'try harder, do better, and give more' in 2017 by Business Insider. In January the former World No.
1 won her 23rd Grand Slam title, being eight-week pregnant, to get one win away from Margaret Court's 24 Major titles record. Serena was the only tennis player included in the 30-public figure list. She is expected to make her comeback at Melbourne in January, four months after giving birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia.
A few days ago Williams was also named the fourth most charitable athlete by Sports Illustrated. Her achievements and fighting spirit are an inspiration for people, not only athletes, both from the human and sports point of view.
