So many items as always emerged for Warriors coach Steve Kerr to address.
Kerr updated reporters on player injuries. Kerr shared his thoughts on Republican senator Roy Moore losing in Tuesday’s election amid child molestation charges. Kerr talked plenty about the Warriors’ success with blocks.
Before he addressed any of that, though, Kerr spoke about the one thing on lots of people’s minds in the Bay Area about the late San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee.
“I want to offer our condolences to Mayor Lee’s family. We were devastated by the news,” Kerr said following practice on Wednesday. “He’s been such an important figure in the Bay Area and a good friend of the Warriors. Always just a kind, gentle soul. We’ve had so many events he was a part of, and he always had a smile on his face. You could just tell he’s a good soul. You feel for his family, most of all, and also for the city. I wanted to pass along our best wishes to his family.”
