On Saturday, Donald Trump attacked London Mayor Sadiq Khan for telling the people of London not to worry about the increased armed police presence on the streets. Trump said of that, "at least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"
Of course, the Mayor had not been talking about the attack, this was pointed out by many media outlets. The Mayor's office themselves replied that they had real work to do and had no time to respond to Trump's tweets.
Today, Trump couldn't resist the urge to pile on again. He accused Mayor Khan of making up a "[p]athetic excuse," and that he "had to think fast on his "no reason to be alarmed" statement."
Mayor Khan is a rare Muslim mayor of a major Western city.
