Sri Lanka's chase was set up nicely by a fighting 🙌partnership(159 runs) for the 2nd wicket between Kushal Mendis & Dhanushka Gunathilaka. After losing Dickwella early, the 2 youngsters played sensibly💡 and kept the required rate in check. An excellent👌 piece of fielding at deep squareleg broke the stand, as Umesh's throw caught Gunathilaka short off his crease. Bhuvi effected another run out to dismiss the well-set Mendis to raise hopes of an Indian comeback, with 124 runs still to defend. But, the Sri Lankan middle order ensured that all the good work didn't go in vain. Mathews(52) in the company of Perera(47) and later Gunaratne(34) guided the team to a win.
With just one game remaining for each team, RSA🇿🇦, IND🇮🇳, PAK🇵🇰 & SL🇱🇰 are level on points and are separated only on the basis of net runrate😯. India take on South Africa on Sunday while the All-Asian game will happen on Monday.
