ODM has resolved the Nairobi county assembly leadership feud that threatened to split the party’s top brass.
The party on Tuesday held a joint meeting of the county assembly members and the central management committee at a city hotel where they resolved to retain the current minority house leadership.
The party officials agreed to retain Elias Otieno and Peter Imwatok as minority leader and minority whip respectively.
Secretary general Edwin Sifuna in a statement said the joint meeting also resolved to harmonise the House committee memberships within the next one week to ensure equity.
Tuesday’s meeting also resolved that the minority leadership fosters unity within the house going forward to ensure service delivery to Nairobi residents.
