Adil Rashid's recent decision to solely focus on white ball cricket until the 2019 World Cup seems to be finding patronage in other 'limited-overs specialists', Alex Hales being the latest.
"I'm grateful to the Club for extending my deal with them because I love batting at Trent Bridge - it's my favourite place to play.", Hales gushed after inking a two-year deal with Nottinghamshire, a side he has fond memories with as he played an instrumental role in the Outlaws winning the Royal London One-Day Cup as well as the Natwest T20 Blast in 2017.
"The decision to focus on my white ball game wasn't taken lightly or on the spur of the moment, it's one I've thought long and hard about. It's also one I've discussed at length with the Notts management. I'd like to thank them for their continued support," Hales said.
