Former Springbok coach Allister Coetzee has been confirmed as the new head coach of the Canon Eagles.
The Japanese club confirmed the news via their official website on Friday. The club said Coetzee had signed for the 2018/19 season.
Coetzee was heavily linked with a move back to Japan after he was sacked as Springbok coach in February.

Coetzee previously coached the Kobelco Steelers in Japan before becoming Springbok coach in 2016. Before that, he had coached Western Province and the Stormers.
