It looks like the President is busy meeting 👀 European delegates this week and has been pretty quiet on the Twitter 🐦 front today.
🐦 Here’s a great stat - since January 2017, the number of people forced to use food stamps is down 1.9 million. The American people are finally back to work!
In January 2018, the Agriculture Department's Food and Nutrition Service counted 40,739,084 individuals as receiving food stamps. As Trump said, that's 1,937,228 fewer people on the SNAP rolls than the 42,676,312 counted in January 2017, when Trump took office.
🐦 ➿ Mike Pence: PROUD to support our friend VoteMarsha for US Senate representing Tennessee. Marsha Blackburn is a rock-ribbed conservative who has been a champion of President Trump’s pro-jobs, pro-military, AMERICA FIRST agenda & will be critical ally in the Senate. She has our full support!
🐦 Having great meetings and discussions with my friend, President EmmanuelMacron of France. We are in the midst of meetings on Iran, Syria and Trade. We will be holding a joint press conference shortly, here at the WhiteHouse. 🇺🇸🇫🇷
President Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron were fielding questions from reporters on Tuesday, in between talks on the Iran nuclear deal and a lavish state dinner. Macron is the first of two European leaders Trump is hosting this week. German Chancellor Angela Merkel will be in Washington, D.C., on Friday. Both France and Germany joined the U.S. in a six-nation pact with Iran to halt its nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. Trump has threatened to pull the U.S. out of that deal. Macron and Merkel want him to stay in.
