A young UK-born Ghanaian, Kwasi Anim-Boadu, was stabbed to death in a violent attack on Saturday, UK press reports. Kwasi Anim-Boadu was knifed near Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s home in Finsbury Park, reports the Standard UK.

The stabbing, in the early hours of Saturday morning, was the 39th fatal knife attack in London this year amid soaring violent crime which has seen more than 60 people killed in the capital in 2018 already. A 21-year-old man was found nearby with stab wounds and was taken to hospital in a non-life threatening condition. He was later arrested.

Kwasi’s sister today paid tribute to her younger brother, who she said was “taken away from us in a blink of an eye”. His family are now raising money to cover the costs of the 20-year-old's funeral.
