Honda has unveiled the 2018 version of the PCX125 maxi-scooter.
Visually, the major changes include the scooter’s LED headlights, LED tail light and turn lights which are now thinner, lending the scooter a razor-sharp look. The airbox inlet and engine cover are now integrated into a single unit. Honda has equipped the PCX125 with chrome elements around the handlebars and bar ends for a premium feel.
The front apron houses a cubbyhole large enough to hold a water bottle and a 12V AC adapter. The fuel-lid and seat can be accessed by one-touch switches and the ignition key has a shutter, as with all Honda scooters. The PCX125 sports an LCD instrument cluster that displays all basic information along with average fuel consumption and idling stop indicator.
It now gets eight-spoke alloy wheels as compared to the five-spoke wheels on the previous model. The scooter also sports larger 100/80 front and 120/70 section rear tyres against the 90/90 and 100/90 section front and rear tyres of the 2017 model. Honda has now increased the underseat storage by 1 litre; now 28 litres, without increasing the width of the scooter.
