India 256/8 (Virat Kohli 71; Rashid 3-49, Willey 3-40)
With the series level at 1-1, India and England clashed in the decider at Leeds. After being asked to bat, India struggled to find rhythm and meandered to a total of 256. Captain Virat Kohli topscored with a brisk 71 but legspinner Adil Rashid robbed India off all their momentum in the middle overs with a spell of 3-49. MS Dhoni had a strike rate of 63.6 which was marginally better than his strike rate at Lord's(62.7). His innings of 42 ended in the 46th over just when India needed the final impetus. However, fireworks from the bats of tailenders Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (21) and Shradhul Thakur (22*) ensured Indian total go past 250.
257 is the target for England to win the series and avenge their T20I series loss.
