Somerset 209/5 in 20 overs (James Hildreth 52, Tom Abell 46, Lewis Gregory 60) beat Nottinghamshire 190 in 20 overs (Alex Hales 45, Jake Libby 41; Jamie Overton 5-47) by 19 runs
Skipper Lewis Gregory carried Somerset to the Finals day of the T20 Blast after a brilliant 24-ball 60, before Jamie Overton picked up a five-wicket haul to end Nottinghamshire's campaign in the rescheduled fourth quarterfinal on August 27, after the initially scheduled game for Sunday was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Somerset reached 209 at the end of their 20 overs, on the back of half-centuries from James Hildreth (52) and Gregory. At one stage, Somerset wouldn't have thought they would reach the imposing target that they did, after losing three wickets for 58 in the eighth over.
Hildreth's 28-ball 52, Tom Abell's unbeaten 30-ball 46 and a late push from the skipper ensured Somerset finished with a target that proved to be 19 runs too much for Nottinghamshire.
