After donating ₹ one crore in aid of Kerala's flood relief measures, Sushant Singh Rajput is proving he has a bigger heart than already proven.
Nagaland too is now grappling with the chaos that the flood is causing there and the actor has come out to support the state. He flew to Dimapur to offer a cheque of ₹ 1.25 crore to the state government there.
The state has been ravaged and over 50000 people have been affected. The government had revealed that nearly ₹ 800 crore would be required to restore the state. The CM Neiphiu Rio had made a plea on social media for help and Sushant has come to his aid.
Rio thanked the actor for his gesture and wrote, “I am moved at the kind gesture made by Sushant and his team towards Nagaland floods and willingness to help Nagaland at this crucial hour. Your contribution is encouraging and I hope to see the rest of the nation come forward selflessly, to donate for Nagaland.”
