Easily the biggest superstar to ever cross over from the WWE to Hollywood is Dwayne Johnson, known to wrestling fans as The Rock.
After leaving the WWE, Johnson has starred in huge blockbusters like the Fast and Furious and G.I. Joe franchises as well as hits like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Moana and Rampage.
Over his movie career, Johnson has appeared in movies that have made a lifetime gross of over $3.3 billion — making him one of the most successful actors in Hollywood financially. Meanwhile, the WWE clearly misses the charisma of The Rock.
The good news is that Johnson told Cathy Kelley of the WWE that The Rock might be ready to come back home.
“I can’t wait to get back into the WWE ring. Everybody always asks me, ‘what’s it like being in a WWE ring?’ I always tell them there’s nothing like it,” Johnson said.
Now, Dwayne Johnson did not say he was ready to come back and wrestle again for the WWE — just that he was ready to come back to a WWE ring. This could mean The Rock could just show up, cut a promo, put someone over, and leave again.
