Queer Eye will live on.
On the heels of its four Emmy nominations for its inaugural season back, Netflix announced it has greenlit an eight-episode third season. The latter is poised to bring production to Kansas City, Missouri on July 16, with plans to debut sometime next year. The series’ latest iteration of co-hosts, the "Fab Five," Antoni Porowski (an expert in food and wine), Bobby Berk (interior design), Karamo Brown (culture), Jonathan Van Ness (grooming) and Tan France (fashion), will each return as well.
The news comes 15 years after the milestone makeover series first aired on Bravo. It ran for five seasons, signing off in 2007. That is until Netflix announced it would be reviving the series, which returned in February of this year with an entirely new Fab Five. Its second season dropped in mid-June.
