CSK chased down of 127 for 9 was surmounted by the hosts with 12 balls to spare.
After opting to bowl the CSK spin duo got to work just after the powerplay. An arm ball from Jadeja castled the RCB captain and Mandeep Singh found deep square leg with a slog sweep. Jadeja then claimed his 3rd of the evening as top-scorer Parthiv Patel popped a catch straight back to him. The visitors collapsed to 89 for 8,before a cameo from Tim Southee propped up the score.
Chennai started well but stuttered in the middle overs by losing a couple of wickets in quick succession. However, RCB let themselves down by dropping DJ Bravo twice - once by Parthiv standing up to the stumps and once by Chahal at the outfield. That was the reprieve Chennai needed as MSD finished the game with a flourish. He smashed 21 runs off the final over and helped his team to the top of the table.
