Meghalaya Filmmaker Pradip Kurbah's Film 'iewduh' Shines In Busan International Film Festival

Meghalaya filmmaker Pradip Kurbah on Saturday bagged the Kim Ji-seok Award for his film Iewduh at Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 2019.

The Kim Ji-seok award was also presented to a Pakistan based filmmaker Sarmad Sultan Khoosat for the film Circus of Life along with Kurbah.

The prestigious award was named after the festival's co-founder and executive programmer Kim Ji-seok who died in 2017.

Headed by Iranian filmmaker Mohsen Makhmalbaf, the jury of the award included Malaysian director-actress Tan Chui Mui and Korean film critic Huh Moon-young.

The list of awards of BIFF were announced on Saturday morning.

Seasoned actor Adil Hussain congratulated Kurbah for winning the Kim-Ji seok award at the 24th edition of the BIFF held in South Korea....
