Assam Launches📱 App to Fight👊 Child Trafficking on Children's Day

As part of the Children's Day celebrations, Assam launched Northeast India's first-ever dedicated mobile application to register complaints of child abuse and violation of child rights online.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (ASCPCR) launched a mobile application 'Sishu Suraksha' on Thursday.

The android and iOS devices friendly application will enable users from all across the state to lodge an instant complaint about child rights violations.

"The figures suggest that crime against children have increased. We also have been registering a lot of cases, for all sorts of crime against children. Our focus is to detect and stop child trafficking," Kuladhar Saikia, DGP, Assam said.
