Windies 216/5 in 50 overs (Deandra Dottin 96, Stafanie Taylor 58; Kainat Imtiaz 3-49) beat Pakistan 70 in 29.5 overs (Nahida Khan 23, Javeria Khan 21; Deandra Dottin 3-14, Afy Fletcher 3-17) by 146 runs
Deandra Dottin continued to torment Pakistan who plummeted to a massive 146-run loss in the ODI series opener in Dubai. Dottin, who hit 96 with the bat, returned to take a three-fer along with Afy Fletcher as Pakistan crumbled to 70 all out in a chase of 217.
Windies opted to bat first and skipper Stafanie Taylor then joined hands with Dottin to repair the early damage and the duo put on 143 runs for the second-wicket partnership. Taylor departed soon after her fifty, while Dottin missed out on a hundred by just four runs.
Pakistan's chase never got going as barring Nahida and Javeria, none of the Pakistan batters managed to score in double-digits.
