Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday alleged that Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal has forced him to cancel his election campaign in the state.
“The Trinamool Congress government violated the Election Commission’s guidelines by not allowing me to hold a roadshow in Bishnupur (in Bankura district of West Bengal). The state administration also created hurdles for me to campaign there,” CM Deb told reporters in Agartala after returning here from Kolkata.
Chief Minister Deb addressed several election rallies in West Bengal during his five-day long stay in West Bengal. He claimed that the BJP would win in most Lok Sabha seats in the state this time....
