Katrina Kaif on Bharat’s Success🔉: I Wanted the Reviews for My Performance to Match up to That I Got for Zero
Katrina Kaif has all the reasons to smile these days, what with the stupendous success of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat opposite Salman Khan. Besides the success of the film, Katrina Kaif as Madam Kumud Raina is being loved by one and all and when an actor’s work is appreciated by audiences, that is the best form of validation that one can ask for. Prior to Bharat, Katrina also won applauses for her role of Babita Kumari in Aanand L.Rai’s Zero so much so that Kat even bagged an award for the same.
And since Bharat has gone on to become such a massive hit, Katrina was asked if she celebrated the success of the film and this Namaste England actor informed DNA, “We have had no time to celebrate. We will probably do it this weekend with something special. I am looking forward to it. But, yes, the response has been fantastic, it’s been exactly what I wanted.”
And while promoting Bharat, on various occasions, Katrina has said that Kumud is one of the most difficult roles she has ever played and talking about the same, she said, “I really wanted the reviews for my performance to match up to those that I got for Zero. So, when my friends were sending me the reviews, it felt very nice. There was a happy satisfied feeling,” adding, “This film and character is always going to stay with me. Kumud (my character) is closest to my heart from everything that I have done so far.”
